BarnBridge is a volatility derivative protocol. The $BOND token will be the system's management token, giving the holders of $BOND the right to vote on updates to the platform. Combining governance mechanisms and incentive holders, it will serve as a means to align different stakeholders in the system. $BOND will also be used as a security and policy management medium. The key to the success of the DeFi protocol lies in the automated governance of decentralized incentives to motivate participants and achieve safety, sustainability, and participant welfare. The BarnBridge DAO will be a DAO controlled by the $BOND community. BarnBridge DAO will fully control the protocol and its built-in functions. We do this by using the Diamond Standard (EIP-2535), which allows us to upgrade the protocol without requiring all members to delete their tokens and switch to version 2 of the protocol when it appears. BarnBridge DAO will fully control Diamond, thus providing amazing flexibility to the WEB3 space. $BOND is an ERC-20 token. It will be used in the staking system and used as a governance token when starting the governance module. Since it complies with the ERC-20 standard, the $BOND token can be traded on any exchange and can be stored in any wallet-allowing anyone in the world to access it.
