Robinhood Chain's first hit

CASHCAT up over 700% intraday, a week after launch

Robinhood Chain is barely a week old, and its first batch of onchain memecoins is already on a tear.

CASHCAT, a memecoin in the Robinhood Chain ecosystem, briefly pushed past a $100 million market cap, with a 24-hour high of more than 1,500%. Spun off from Cash Cat, the early mascot of the Robinhood stock app, it has quickly grown into one of the most recognizable onchain assets on the young chain.

Why it surged

The run came from a few forces lining up at once. On July 1, Robinhood launched Robinhood Chain, built on the Arbitrum tech stack, with onchain finance and real-world assets (RWA) as its core focus. As mainnet bridging opened, liquidity poured in fast, and the earliest memecoins were first to catch the heat.

CASHCAT also carries real community culture. Its namesake was Robinhood's brand mascot in the company's early days, familiar enough to Robinhood's user base that it became the first memecoin to draw community attention after the new chain went live. Recent chatter about Robinhood's founder and community only amplified the mood and kept money flowing in.

A wider hunt for early plays

CASHCAT started at just a few million dollars in market cap when mainnet opened, then moved through several waves of buying before accelerating over the past two days, the clearest wealth-effect story on Robinhood Chain so far. Other ecosystem memecoins like STONKS, HOODRAT, and MARIAN have drawn attention too, a sign that money is still digging for early opportunities on the new chain.

That said, memecoins are high-volatility, high-risk assets by nature. Their prices are driven by sentiment, community consensus, and money flow rather than any stable fundamentals, so manage your risk carefully.
