PayGo utilizes asymmetric cryptography to secure transactions and on-chain settlement proofs. However, as with all decentralized protocols, users should verify audit reports for specific smart contract deployments.

PayGo: Project Guide | Latest Updates, Presale & Airdrop

Q: What is the Purpose of PayGo?

The primary goal of PayGo is to provide a standardized, decentralized infrastructure for automated payments between machines, APIs, and AI agents, eliminating the need for human-intervened billing cycles.

Q: How Can I Participate in PayGo's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by integrating the PayGo SDK into their own APIs to monetize data, or by holding and staking PAYGO tokens to participate in protocol governance decisions.

Q: What Sets PayGo Apart from Competitors?

PayGo is uniquely built on the x402 standard, meaning it functions natively within the HTTP protocol layer of the internet rather than acting as a standalone, isolated payment app.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with PayGo?

Potential risks include low market liquidity, regulatory uncertainties regarding machine-native payments, and the experimental nature of the x402 standard in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

PayGo

Infra AI Agent Payment

PayGo is an HTTP-native payment infrastructure based on the x402 open standard. It utilizes the HTTP 402 "Payment Required" status code to implement on-request instant stablecoin payments for APIs, AI agents, and machine economies without the need for accounts, subscriptions, or API Keys, and supports seamless automated settlement.

What is PayGo?

PayGo is a decentralized protocol and HTTP-native gateway designed to facilitate seamless, per-request payment settlements for the machine economy. By leveraging the x402 open standard and the historically dormant HTTP 402 'Payment Required' status code, PayGo enables AI agents, APIs, and automated services to conduct real-time financial interactions without traditional billing friction or manual intervention.

How Does PayGo Work?

The project operates through a dual-token architecture where transaction settlements occur in stablecoins to ensure low-cost and high-speed execution, while the PAYGO token handles protocol governance and security staking. It utilizes a Server SDK for API monetization and a Gateway system that manages decentralized routing and liquidity, allowing machines to negotiate prices and verify settlements instantly via cryptographic receipts.

What Makes PayGo Unique?

PayGo stands out by integrating directly into existing internet protocols, making it a 'web-native' payment layer for autonomous agents. Key use cases include per-query monetization for premium data APIs, GPU rental for computational tasks, and AI agent service payments. Unlike traditional subscription models, it allows for granular, micro-transactional billing that scales with actual resource usage.

Who Are the Founders of PayGo?

The current decentralized iteration of PayGo in the Web3 space is often associated with technical contributors from the FRED Energy ecosystem and developers focusing on the OpenPAYGO standard. While specific individual identities are often kept private to maintain decentralization, the project draws expertise from utility billing pioneers and IoT hardware engineers who previously developed pay-as-you-go solutions for energy access in emerging markets.
