The primary goal of Wildcat is to allow the world the opportunity to participate in private credit markets typically restricted to inner circles, on terms visible to all. By bringing private credit activity onchain, Wildcat aims to enhance transparency and prevent widespread failures like those seen after the collapse of platforms such as Terra.

Wildcat is primarily designed for institutional crypto participants such as funds, market makers, and DAOs. Interested parties can engage with the protocol by creating or participating in customizable undercollateralized credit markets. As of now, there is no native token or public investment opportunity available.

Unlike traditional DeFi platforms like Aave, Euler, and Compound, Wildcat enables undercollateralized loans without requiring borrowers to submit financial details. The system relies on the reputation of borrowers, addressing the challenge of creating credit scores in the pseudonymous and Sybil-resistant crypto space. This approach allows for greater flexibility and control in the creation of credit markets.
