We are happy to announce that Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) has supported Optimism.

Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) officially supports the launch of Optimism, which will provide Optimism users with a more convenient trading method and ecological project participation experience. Users can directly participate in ecological projects for transactions through Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep). At the same time, Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) will fully support the Optimism ecosystem and grow together with Optimism.

Optimism Advantages:
Trust-free — — you can withdraw your funds from ORU at any time, and most block producers on the network are honest.
Permission-free — -anyone can become a block producer on ORU, because all block data on ORU is published on Ethereum and can be obtained from Ethereum.
Custody-free — -Because ORU is both trust-free and permission-free, you can withdraw your funds at any time, and no one can stop you.
Strong expressiveness-ORU can handle whether it is a UTXO payment similar to Bitcoin or a mature and compatible EVM execution.
Open participation — -ORU supports smart contracts and is open to everyone like Uniswap.
Anti-chain congestion — -ORU does not calculate time-consuming and resource-consuming on-chain transactions, it targets the calculation data of smart contracts.

Previously, Optimism announced that it would be upgraded to EVM full compatibility. Developers can use Solidity smart contracts to deploy directly, and the one-click deployment function will be launched in October.

About Optimism

Optimism is an Ethereum expansion solution. All transaction data on it will be compressed and synchronized to the Ethereum main network (Layer 1) to share the security of the main network and achieve expansion. Since Optimism released the testnet in May this year, 400+ projects have obtained access qualifications.
Optimism’s development team Offchain Labs is a blockchain startup company focused on enterprise-level applications, founded in the fall of 2018.

One morning two months ago, a number in the team's daily report stopped me cold. For the first time, more people were using Bitget Wallet to pay than to trade. I sat with those few rows for a long while. I knew what that quiet crossover meant. For years, this industry lived with something to prove,

Eight years ago, Bitget Wallet was a place to trade. A tool built for crypto natives who lived onchain and wanted somewhere to swap tokens. Today, 100 million users later, it's something we barely could have described back then. People save, grow and spend from it in more than 50 markets, across bor

You've been holding USDT or USDC in your wallet. Maybe you use it to get paid, send money, or just keep savings somewhere stable. But when it's time to actually spend – on a subscription, a flight, a coffee – the crypto stays put and you reach for a bank card anyway. That's the gap we've been workin
