To meet users' management needs for assets with varying security levels, Bitget Wallet (Previously Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep)) has added support for the mainstream hardware wallet Keystone to serve as a non-network solution for wallet asset management. Users can import their hardware wallets quickly and safely by using the QR code or Bluetooth on the Bitget Wallet (Previously Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep)) App. In the future, we will also introduce hardware wallets such as OneKey, Ledger, and Trezor, so stay tuned.

Below is the Keystone import tutorial for Bitget Wallet (Previously Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep)) newbies:

1. Obtain the Keystone Import QR Code

Turn on your Keystone device and select [Management], followed by [Select Software Wallet] in the upper right corner. Next, select [Bitget Wallet (Previously Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep))] to enter the network page.

Tap on [...] in the upper right corner followed by followed by [Select Software Wallet] to generate and import a QR code.

2. Import Keystone Wallet into Bitget Wallet (Previously Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep))

Tap on [My Wallet] in the upper left corner, followed by [Add a Wallet] at the bottom. Next, select [Hardware], and scan the QR code of the hardware wallet device;

After scanning the code, select the account that you wish to import, and tap on [Confirm] to complete the hardware wallet import.

Security Tip: After importing your hardware wallet into Bitget Wallet (Previously Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep)), your mnemonic phrase and private key permissions will still be stored on the hardware device. Bitget Wallet (Previously Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep)) is only used as a tool for asset display. Your hardware device will be required for any transaction signature after the importing has been confirmed. Therefore, there is no need to worry about compromising the security of your assets after importing. Additionally, please take good care of your hardware wallet device. If the device is lost, Bitget Wallet (Previously Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep)) will not be able to help you retrieve your assets.
