Adding the BTC Mainnet

Step 1: Tap on "All Mainnets" at the top of your main Bitget Wallet homepage.

Step 2: Enter "Bitcoin" into the search field and add the Bitcoin network to your Bitget Wallet.

Step 4: Return to your home page. Your default network should now be set to "Bitcoin". You may also obtain your Bitcoin address by tapping on the copy symbol.

Now that you have connected to the Bitcoin mainnet, the next step would be to add assets to your wallet. You may do so by either opting to receive tokens via a transfer from another address, or purchase BTC using fiat on-ramping.

Receiving BTC Assets

To receive BTC assets, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Tap on the "+" symbol on your Bitget Wallet homepage.

Step 2: Key in "BTC" into the search field, and tap on the search result.

Step 3: You may either choose to copy your receiving address details for transfer, or scan the QR displayed on screen to facilitate the transfer from another address.

Step 4: Following successful transfer, return to your home page. Your newly-received BTC assets should now be displayed here.

Purchasing BTC using Quick Buy

Quick Buy, Bitget Wallet's integrated OTC payment service, now supports the purchase of BTC using fiat currency. To on-ramp BTC assets using fiat, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: On your Bitget Wallet homepage, tap on "Buy".

Step 2: Select "Buy crypto" to purchase BTC using fiat currency via authorized payment channels.

Step 3: Key in your token information, such as token and network type. Ensure that you have selected "BTC" and that the network displayed is "BTC". Key in the amount of fiat you wish to on-ramp into BTC.

Step 4: Select an available payment channel and proceed to the payment site.

Step 5: Verify your transaction details on the payment site and proceed with the on-screen instructions to finalize your purchase.

Swapping for BTC using Bitget Swap

Swapping for BTC on Bitget Swap has never been easier! To swap for BTC using Bitget Wallet's integrated swap feature, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Tap on "Swap" on your Bitget Wallet homepage, where you will be brought to the Bitget Swap interface.

Step 2: Tap on "Swap" again at the top. Alternatively, you may also tap on the "BTC" tab that is featured below the market overview line chart.

Step 3: Tap on "Buy" on the BTC asset page. You may also view important information about BTC, including its price movements, asset information, and past transactions.

Step 4: Key in the details of your swap, and tap on "Confirm".

Step 5: Verify your swap transaction and select "Continue" to proceed with the on-screen verification to finalize your transaction.

Interacting with the BTC Ecosystem
