How to Purchase Crypto Through OTC and P2P?

Purchasing Cryptocurrencies Through Third-Party OTC Payment Channels

Step 1: Go to the Bitget Wallet homepage, tap on "Buy", and select "Buy crypto".

Step 2: Select your location. Next, select the fiat currency you intend to use for the transaction payment and the cryptocurrency you want to purchase from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: After selecting the crypto you wish to purchase, a quotation will show up. Bitget Wallet automatically selects the payment channel offering the best price for you. However, you are free to choose any service provider you prefer. Tap "Confirm" and proceed to the payment page. Follow the instructions on the payment channel's page to complete the OTC exchange.

 

Purchasing Cryptocurrencies Through P2P Method

Step 1: Tap “Buy” on the Wallet page or homepage and select "P2P trading".

Step 2: After being redirected to the Bitget page, select the cryptocurrency to purchase and the fiat currency for deposit. Filter suitable P2P merchants and tap "Buy".

Step 3: Since P2P trading and Bitget Exchange accounts are not interchangeable, even if you have already registered on Bitget Exchange, you still need to click "Sign up" on this page to register for a Bitget account. Follow the prompts to complete the registration and login.

Step 4: Before making a purchase, complete KYC verification as per the prompts. KYC verification is mandatory to use Bitget P2P service.

Step 5: Fill in the purchase quantity, receiving address, and payment method. After confirming the transaction, follow the prompts to make the payment to the P2P merchant. Once you receive the transferred cryptocurrency from the merchant, the transaction is complete.

Step 6: After returning to the homepage, click on the order icon in the upper right corner to view all your P2P transaction records.
