What is Arcex?

Arcex (often associated with Architex or ARCx) is a decentralized project at the intersection of blockchain, AI, and physical infrastructure. Its primary mission is to provide a decentralized mining layer for major networks like Bitcoin and Bittensor, utilizing a specialized network of ASIC and GPU hardware to democratize access to high-performance computing power.

How Does Arcex Work?

Arcex operates by coordinating a decentralized hardware infrastructure. It utilizes smart contracts to manage the distribution of computing resources (GPUs and ASICs) across various AI and blockchain protocols. Users can participate by providing or leasing this hardware power, while the ARCx token facilitates transactions, governance, and incentivization within this decentralized mining and AI layer.

What Makes Arcex Unique?

Arcex is unique due to its integration of real-world hardware assets with decentralized finance (DeFi). Key features include its support for 'Physically Backed Tokens' (PBTs) and its focus on critical AI protocols like Morpheus and Bittensor. Unlike pure software DApps, Arcex provides a bridge where physical mining power can be tokenized and utilized across multiple high-demand networks simultaneously.

Who Are the Founders of Arcex?

The founders of the Arcex (Architex) ecosystem are a group of developers and entrepreneurs with expertise in ASIC manufacturing and decentralized hardware distribution. While specific names are often kept private to maintain decentralization, the project's roots are linked to researchers and engineers from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) and experienced DeFi architects who previously worked on synthetic asset protocols.
