When direct matches aren't available, idle liquidity is routed to LLP pools or fallback pools to maximize yield and eliminate idle capital. Borrowers deposit collateral, which is deployed into underlying protocols to earn returns while backing the loan, enhancing capital efficiency. In cases of default, a proportional portion of the borrower's collateral is automatically liquidated to maintain protocol solvency and protect lenders.
