Q: What is the Purpose of TProtocol?

TProtocol aims to address the lack of risk-free interest-paying instruments in the current DeFi system by providing interest-bearing tokens backed by the treasury. DeFi users can benefit from the mid-term interest rate gap between stablecoins and the rising treasury.

Q: How Can I Participate in TProtocol's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by minting TBT tokens with USDC, staking TBT-3CRV LP tokens to earn esTPS incentives, or providing liquidity in TProtocol's pools to earn returns.

Q: What Sets TProtocol Apart from Competitors?

TProtocol's integration of real-world assets like U.S. Treasury Bills into the DeFi ecosystem offers a unique blend of traditional finance and blockchain technology, providing stable, risk-free yields to users.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with TProtocol?

While TProtocol aims to provide stable yields, potential risks include smart contract vulnerabilities, regulatory changes affecting real-world asset tokenization, and market volatility impacting the value of underlying assets.

TProtocol

Lending

TProtocol is a DeFi-native protocol that uses T-Bills as its underlying asset. It provides DeFi-composable on-chain T-Bill tokens to meet the demand for risk-free real yield in the DeFi ecosystem. TProtocol will provide permissionless interest-bearing tokens backed by reverse repo and Treasury with short durations, usually from 1 to 3 months from maturity. The redemption price of these Treasury tokens will increase over time as interest from underlying assets accrues into the tokens.

What is TProtocol?

TProtocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that integrates U.S. Treasury Bill yields into the blockchain ecosystem. It offers users the ability to earn yield through fully composable tokens backed by real-world assets, bridging traditional financial instruments with blockchain technology.

How Does TProtocol Work?

TProtocol operates by issuing tokens such as TBT and wTBT, which are backed by short-term U.S. Treasury securities. Users can mint TBT with USDC, and as interest accrues, the token's value increases. wTBT is a non-rebasing token that can be converted to TBT, facilitating integration with existing DeFi protocols.

What Makes TProtocol Unique?

TProtocol stands out by providing permissionless access to yield-bearing, real-world assets like U.S. Treasury Bills. This approach reduces entry barriers to real-world assets and enhances DeFi composability, allowing users to earn stable yields backed by government securities.

Who Are the Founders of TProtocol?

TProtocol was founded by former members of the Cytus team, who have backgrounds in traditional finance, including hedge funds and private equity. They entered the real-world asset (RWA) field in 2021, aiming to bridge traditional financial instruments with blockchain technology.
