What is derp.trade?

derp.trade is a decentralized perpetual trading protocol that enables leveraged long and short positions on any on-chain asset without requiring high volume or liquidity. It utilizes Automated Market Maker (AMM) technology to provide instant liquidity and order execution for any asset, regardless of trading volume.

How Does derp.trade Work?

Unlike traditional perpetual futures that rely on order books and require deep liquidity, derp.trade uses AMM technology to provide instant liquidity for any asset. This approach allows traders to take leveraged positions on various assets, including stocks, real estate funds, and memecoins, all fully on-chain.

What Makes derp.trade Unique?

derp.trade stands out by offering leveraged trading on any financial asset through its innovative use of AMM technology. Key features include the ability to trade any asset with leverage, access to traditional financial assets on-chain, and a fully decentralized platform without intermediaries.

Who Are the Founders of derp.trade?

The co-founder of derp.trade and inventor of DERPs is Antoni Kiszka. He has commented on the impact of DERPs on internet capital markets, highlighting their ability to enable leveraged trading even in markets previously considered too illiquid for traditional perpetuals.
