Q: What is the Purpose of Minos?

The purpose of Minos is to decentralize the process of genomic variant calling, making it more accurate and cost-effective for the medical and research communities through AI-driven incentives.

Q: How Can I Participate in Minos's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by becoming Miners (running variant calling algorithms) or Validators (scoring miners) on Bittensor Subnet 107. Investors can also participate by holding or staking the token.

Q: What Sets Minos Apart from Competitors?

Minos is unique in its use of 'winner-take-all' incentive designs and synthetic mutation injection, ensuring that only the most accurate models are rewarded, unlike centralized genomic services.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with Minos?

Risks include the high technical complexity of the Bittensor network and the potential for shifts in genomic regulation. These are managed through transparent scoring and compliance with European MiCA regulations.

What is Minos?

Minos is a decentralized genomic variant calling platform operating as a subnet (SN107) on the Bittensor network. Its mission is to advance precision medicine by incentivizing the accurate detection of DNA mutations through blockchain technology, creating a high-performance infrastructure for genomic analysis.

How Does Minos Work?

The project functions through a competitive network of miners and validators. Every 72 minutes, the platform generates a fresh challenge genome with hidden synthetic mutations. Miners run variant calling tools to detect these mutations, while validators score their performance in isolated containers. The best-performing participants receive emissions in the form of tokens.

What Makes Minos Unique?

Minos stands out by bridging AI, blockchain, and genomics. It builds the world's largest validated synthetic genome database and aims to create a 'consensus variant caller' that exceeds the accuracy of any single tool. This infrastructure allows hospitals and pharmaceutical companies to submit sequencing samples for clinical-grade decentralized analysis.

Who Are the Founders of Minos?

The project is spearheaded by Alfonso Ayuso, who serves as the CEO of Minos Global. The initiative is backed by significant partnerships, most notably with Prosegur Cash, represented by corporate innovation directors like José Ángel Fernández Freire, focusing on integrating regulated digital asset services with advanced biotechnological computation.

Ultime notizie

What Key Events Have There Been for Minos?

Significant milestones include the authorization of Minos Securities Agency by Spain's CNMV in 2025, enabling the first comprehensive digital asset service in the country. Additionally, the project successfully transitioned to the Bittensor network as Subnet 107, securing clinical-grade benchmarking for genomic data.

Project Announcements

Minos recently announced its 5-phase roadmap, moving from hyperparameter optimization of existing tools to the deployment of entirely custom decentralized AI algorithms for production-grade genomic variant calling.

Latest Airdrop

Currently, there is no active public airdrop scheduled. Participants typically earn tokens through 'emissions' by contributing as miners or validators on the Bittensor subnet.

ICO Time

Minos did not hold a traditional public ICO; it launched via the Bittensor fair launch mechanism where tokens are earned through network participation.

IDO Time

No public IDO (Initial DEX Offering) dates are currently listed on major launchpads.

TGE Time

The Token Generation Event occurred alongside its integration into the Bittensor ecosystem as Subnet 107 in early 2026.
