What is Daylight?

Daylight is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) project focused on energy distribution. It enables users to connect their energy devices—such as thermostats, batteries, electric vehicles, and solar inverters—to its app, allowing them to earn rewards. The project aims to create a more resilient and democratized energy network by integrating decentralized energy resources into a unified system.

How Does Daylight Work?

Users integrate their energy devices with the Daylight app, contributing to the network's energy capacity. This pooled capacity is then made available to energy companies, enhancing grid stability and efficiency. Participants earn rewards for their contributions, promoting a collaborative energy economy. Additionally, Daylight offers a marketplace for energy upgrades, enabling users to access products like solar panels and EV chargers.

What Makes Daylight Unique?

Daylight stands out by transforming individual homes into decentralized power plants, allowing users to actively participate in energy distribution and earn rewards. Its marketplace for energy upgrades simplifies the transition to sustainable energy solutions, providing multiple avenues for users to contribute to and benefit from the network.

Who Are the Founders of Daylight?

Daylight was founded in 2022 by Jason Badeaux, Udit Patel, and Evan Caron, all of whom have backgrounds in the energy industry. Their combined expertise drives the project's mission to revolutionize energy distribution through decentralized infrastructures.
