How prediction markets work
When you predict an outcome, you're buying shares in it. Shares are priced between $0 and $1 – the price reflects how likely the market thinks that outcome is. If you're right, each share pays out $1. If you're wrong, you lose what you paid. You can also sell your shares early to lock in a gain or cut your losses.

Is Predictions available in my region?
Predictions is available in most regions where Bitget Wallet is supported. It is not available in mainland China or regions restricted by Polymarket. If you're in a restricted region, you'll see a notice: "Due to local regulatory restrictions, this service is not available in your region." Tap "Back" to return to Bitget Wallet.

Setting up for the first time
The first time you open Predictions, a 3-step walkthrough will introduce the key features: an intro to Predictions, trading on almost anything, picking an outcome, reviewing the terms, and a final authorization step. At the last step, tap "Get started" to authorize your proxy wallet and enable trading. Once done, you're ready to explore markets and place your first prediction.

Making your first deposit
You'll need funds in your Predictions account before you can place a prediction. If you haven't deposited yet, you'll see a "Make your first deposit" prompt on the home page. Tap "Deposit" to get started. The minimum deposit is $1. Head to the Deposits and withdrawals section to see all available deposit methods and token types.
