What is 3Jane?

3Jane is a credit-based money market on Ethereum that provides unsecured USDC credit lines underwritten against verifiable proofs of crypto and bank assets, future cash flows, and credit scores. This approach introduces future-backed credit alongside existing asset-backed loans, enhancing capital efficiency within crypto financial markets.

How Does 3Jane Work?

3Jane operates through a peer-to-pool model where suppliers deposit USDC into a pool to mint USD3, gaining exposure to a diverse range of credit lines. Borrowers connect their Ethereum addresses and bank accounts to access unsecured USDC credit facilities. The protocol utilizes an off-chain credit underwriting algorithm, 3CA, which assesses creditworthiness based on a user's DeFi assets, off-chain assets, future cash flows, and credit scores. To maintain solvency, 3Jane implements mechanisms such as credit score adjustments and on-chain auctions involving licensed U.S. collection agencies for non-performing debts.
