What is Ika?

Ika is a parallel Multi-Party Computation (MPC) network designed to provide sub-second latency, scalability up to 10,000 transactions per second, and zero-trust security. It introduces dWallets, decentralized, programmable, and transferable signing mechanisms that enable secure, decentralized control of assets without centralized intermediaries or reliance on bridging or wrapping.

How Does Ika Work?

Ika employs a 2PC-MPC (Two-Party Computation – Multi-Party Computation) cryptographic scheme. This involves the user and the network each generating a share of the encrypted key, followed by hundreds to thousands of nodes performing the MPC signing process in parallel. This architecture allows for high throughput and low latency while maintaining decentralization and security.

What Makes Ika Unique?

Ika's unique features include: 1. dWallets: Enable native cross-chain asset control directly from Sui smart contracts without bridges or token wrapping. 2. High Performance: Achieves sub-second signature generation and scales to thousands of nodes. 3. Zero-Trust Security: Implements a dual-share signing model, ensuring that a signature cannot be generated without active user involvement, even if parts of the network are compromised.

Who Are the Founders of Ika?

Ika was founded in 2022 in Israel by Omer Sadika (CEO), David Lachmish (Co-Founder & Product), and Yehonatan Cohen Scaly (CTO). The team brings extensive experience in cryptography, blockchain technology, and product development.
