Top-up fee
The top-up fee is 1%. For instance, if you deposit 100 USDC, a 1 USDC top-up fee applies, so you will receive 99 USD on your card.
If you choose to top up in a fiat currency other than USD, the amount will be converted in real-time based on the current exchange rate. For example, if you choose RMB and deposit 100 USDC, after the 1% top-up fee, the remainder will be converted to RMB at the current rate.
All fees and rates are clearly shown on the top-up page.

Spending fee
There are no extra transaction fees when you use the card for purchases. However, if your transaction involves currency conversion, it will be settled at the real-time exchange rate, which may lead to a small forex difference (usually around 1%).
E.g., If your card holds 100 USD and you make a purchase of 100 RMB, the amount will be converted from USD to RMB at the real-time rate (usually around 1%). If your card holds 100 RMB and you spend 100 RMB, the amount is deducted 1:1 from your RMB balance.

Foreign exchange rate
During currency exchange, your card uses the current real-time rate. There may be a small difference compared to the official market rate, usually around 1%.
To avoid unnecessary forex losses, we recommend topping up your card with the currency you use most often. For example, if most of your card spending is in USD, it is best to top up directly in USD.

Foreign exchange rate
E.g., if you top up in RMB, your USD will be converted to RMB, and if you later need to pay for a USD transaction (like a ChatGPT subscription), your RMB will be converted back to USD, resulting in two rounds of forex fees.
If you top up with 100 USD, after the 1% top-up fee, you get 99 USD. If you then spend RMB, your USD will be converted to RMB, possibly incurring forex loss.

Other fees
When using the card to pay via WeChat or Alipay, if a single transaction exceeds 200 RMB, a 3% fee will be charged by the payment platform (not by Bitget Wallet or the card issuer).
