What is Minterest?

Minterest is a decentralized lending protocol designed to maximize value for its users by capturing 100% of the fee value generated from user activity and converting it into its governance token, MINTY. This approach aims to provide users with higher yields and a more rewarding experience in the DeFi space.

How Does Minterest Work?

Minterest operates by allowing users to supply and borrow various token assets. The protocol dynamically computes interest rates in real-time based on the supply and demand dynamics of each asset. Unique features include an auto-liquidation process managed by the protocol itself, ensuring the solvency of asset pools and capturing liquidation fees, which are then redistributed to users.

What Makes Minterest Unique?

Minterest stands out due to its innovative economic model that captures all protocol fees and redistributes them to users through the buyback of MINTY tokens. This mechanism creates long-term token scarcity and aligns incentives for sustainable growth. Additionally, Minterest offers up to 50% extra MINTY rewards via NFT boosts and supports a wide range of blue-chip assets.

Who Are the Founders of Minterest?

The Minterest team includes Kyn Chaturvedi (CEO), James Gilbertson (COO), Eugene Peniaz (Tech Lead), Morteza Alamalhoda (CMO), and Ales Ananich (Senior Backend Developer). Each member brings extensive experience in blockchain technology, marketing, and software development, contributing to the protocol's innovation and growth.
